FRIEDA LOUISE
Owner; Founder; Mentor; Athlete
A passionate athlete, adventurer, and lover of the outdoors, Frieda Louise was born and raised in British Columbia's breathtaking Sea to Sky corridor. Skiing holds a special place in her heart, having been a constant in her life for as long as she can remember. Starting snow school at the young age of three, Frieda progressed through countless programs in Whistler before becoming a ski instructor herself. This deep connection to skiing has led her to dedicate countless hours to training and honing her skills, resulting in impressive achievements, such as passing her CSIA Level 3 at the age of 15, as well as the skiing portion of her PSIC Level 4 a year later. Frieda's skiing journey has been significantly influenced by the mentors who have guided and supported her growth throughout different parts of her life. Recognizing the invaluable role they played, she is passionate about paying it forward and empowering the next generation of female skiers. Combining her commitment to mentorship with her goal of reversing the decline of female athletes in extreme sports, Frieda created SkiHer; a project she had envisioned for many years.
