Inspire. Empower. SkiHer;
Connecting our sisterhood, one turn at a time.
Our Story
Born and raised in the Sea to Sky Corridor, I’ve been deeply connected to skiing since I first strapped into skis at the age of three. From ski school to athlete training and now as a ski instructor, my journey has been shaped by this sport. Over these many years, I’ve experienced firsthand the joys and challenges of the ski industry. Yet, I’ve also observed a troubling trend: many girls who began skiing with me were dropping out far too soon—most by the age of 13.
This realization sparked a deep curiosity in the fall of 2023, inspiring me to investigate the issue further. What I discovered was both surprising and concerning, and it drove me to action. Reflecting on my own journey, I realized how essential mentorship had been for me. The guidance, encouragement, and belief of my mentors helped me grow both on and off the slopes, igniting a passion I wanted to share with others.
From this inspiration, SkiHer was born—a mentorship program designed to support girls aged 9 to 14 in skiing. This program connects young skiers with diverse, accomplished female mentors from across the skiing industry, providing a network of role models to guide them through their journey. By fostering confidence, community, and a sense of belonging, SkiHer empowers girls to stay engaged in the sport and see themselves as part of its future.
Mission
SkiHer's mission is to provide a network for young female athletes where they feel supported in growing their skills, confidence, and community on the mountains in Whistler, BC.

Vision
SkiHer's vision is to empower girls in skiing by fostering confidence, resilience, and community through mentorship. By connecting them with experienced role models, SkiHer supports their journey on and off the slopes, addressing the high dropout rates in high-performance sports.
The Inspiration
Skiing has given me freedom, joy, and empowerment. But with one in three girls dropping out of sports—and even higher rates in high-performance skiing—it’s clear we need change. SkiHer is my way of giving back, ensuring that the next generation of female skiers has the support they need to thrive.
This program isn’t just about keeping girls in skiing; it’s about shaping a stronger, more inclusive future for the sport. By building a community where girls feel seen, heard, and valued, SkiHer seeks to inspire a generation of confident, fierce female skiers who will help redefine the industry.
Through SkiHer, I hope to share the gift of mentorship that shaped my own path and to empower young girls to carve out their own trails—on and off the hill.
